The 2023 Gordon Research Conference on Plant Lipids will be held in person at Galveston Texas from January 29th to February 3rd.

It is the goal of the 2023 meeting to bring together visionary leaders, stakeholders, and academic scientists to discuss the latest findings and technological advances in basic lipid research and identify how these discoveries can be leveraged to create new opportunities for human benefit. We will discuss and identify new and emerging areas of research including organelle contact sites, lipid breakdown and storage, engineering value-added products, advanced techniques and analyses driving new discoveries, and discuss short and longer-range goals that help orient scientific discovery with the future needs of society. We will also discuss how lipids assist plants in interfacing with their environment, including signaling, plant growth and development, metabolism, trafficking, and particularly important structures like cuticles and lipid droplets

Applications for this meeting must be submitted by January 1, 2023
